My Story
After taking a decade-long break from school, I chose to return to complete my undergraduate degree, graduating in December 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations. I thought my academic journey was over until the desire to learn drew me in, and just a year after finishing my undergrad, I enrolled in a Master of Arts in Mass Communication program.
During my time away from school, I navigated the corporate world with a typical 9-5 job, but my passion for writing and creativity always lingered. When I was laid off in November 2024, I decided to pursue my writing career instead of working for someone else.
My love for creative writing began in elementary school and developed throughout high school, even leading me to explore fanfiction writing until I lost my motivation during tough times. However, a persistent friend inspired me in October 2023 to read a popular dragon book, reigniting my creativity and passion for not just writing but for life.
When I'm not immersed in reading or writing, you'll likely find me listening to Taylor Swift. I enjoy taking weekly Hot Girl Walks at my local zoo and working a few days a week at a gym. Although I love to travel, I often am relaxing at home, cheering for my local NHL team or binge watching Gilmore Girls with my cat, Mr. Gus, curled up in my lap.
